Not an immersion tour as described in your title of the tour. No communication with anyone except your guide. Only my husband and I were on tour so we were quite surprised we received 5 min of rules and direction on when we could and could not ask questions before we even left parking lot. Not a nice way to start a tour. We had to save for the end of tour and maybe we would remember what we wanted to ask. The country was breathtaking and tour guide was knowledgeable.

We're sorry to hear you didn't get the interaction you were expecting at the Amish properties. Since these are private properties that we visit, we cannot guarantee that the Amish families will be there, although there are almost always opportunities to interact with some of them. However, on rare occasions it can happen that no one is available at any of the homes. Sorry that happened to you. We appreciate your comments and feedback on the pre-tour instructions from your guide. Thank you also for giving a balanced review by mentioning some positives you took from it.

Didn't know much about Amish life before tour. After tour I feel I'm ready for the quiz. Dale was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area who wishes to know more about the Amish and history of the area.
