The colors are rich and deep in the morning and afternoon, and the famous light beams occur mid-day during April to September. This beautiful canyon is located at Page, Lake Powell in Arizona.

Not recommended for travelers with poor cardiovascular health
Not recommended for pregnant travelers
Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
Please be sure to arrive 45 minutes prior to tour time. This is to give you enough time to locate the activity site and complete the check in process before tour departure. All tour must depart on time, and late arrivals are subject to no refund.
Navajo Parks & Rec office: site is subject to closure due to adverse weather.
Navajo Parks & Rec office: people who may not be physically capable of completing the hiking required during the tour or pregnant are not allowed to participate.
Antelope Canyon does not allow: HIKING STICKS, CANES, WALKERS, OR WHEELCHAIRS.
All guests must be able to walk unassisted on uneven surfaces and elevation changes i.e., steep incline/decline
No Tripods, monopods, quadcopters or bags of all kinds are permitted during the guided tour. Please leave them at your vehicle.
Any pets or service animals are not allowed.
Not recommended for travelers that have trouble navigating stairs

Waiting one hour in 104 F heat and waiting for the tour to begin! We were made to check in at 12:30 and the tour did not start until 1:30. Multiple trucks left at that time and we were crowded in the canyon- each group of 10 people stepping on each other heels.

Canyon itself is worth visiting, but experience with guides was pretty poor. Rudeness of the guides for our group and group who followed us spoiled impression significantly. It was hardly possible to make a nice photo due to big crowds. Brims was visible very well as well on photos, so it wasn’t clear why guide constantly was throughing sand in the air, so as result we were fully covered with dust. I even had issues with lenses since sand dropped to eyes, so I had even to remove lenses. We could compare experience with guides since just few hours before we were in lower Antelope canyons and experience was completely different.

We visited both Upper Antelope canyon and Horseshoe bend. The drive was very long but the tour guide kept us entertained and shared fun facts. Both places are nature’s most beautiful creation and one should try to visit once in their lifetime.
