What a wonderful experience! My family of 5 decided to go white water rafting with Smoky Mountain River Rat. With a not so great experience with tubing (due to the low water level), we were skeptical about rafting. We were all nervous. Our fears began to ease once we entered the building. The staff were exceptional. They were kind, welcoming, and used lots of humor to calm our fears. From the bus driver to the lead guide, they consistently interacted with us and kept it light hearted and fun. They did an amazing job with sharing the safety tips and reiterating it when we were on the raft. We had a wonderful guide name Morgan. We never had to guess with Morgan. She told us exactly what to do and what to expect. She was encouraging and memorized all of our names. Even if we were horrible, we never knew it. And the ride itself... simply awesome. The views of the mountain were breathtaking. The rapids were exciting. Our biggest complaint was that it went too fast. We cannot wait to do it again.

Great adventure with da fam. The rapids were perfect for first timing it. Wilson, our guide was nice and funny he did a good job.
