I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience was so negative that I felt the need to write one. We paid $96 for a couples massage, and together tipped $20 (which is more than a 20% tip). Then, the massage therapists complained that they wanted to be tipped $10 more- they even went to the receptionists to complain. We didn’t want to make a scene but we flatly refused to give in to this tactic. We left more stressed out that before we went in.
Additionally, the massage was not good- it felt like I was just paying to get lotion rubbed on me+getting slapped/pounded on. The massage was not peaceful or relaxing in the slightest because you could hear workers accosting/yelling at other customers for more tip money at the front desk. The walls to the “private room” were not walls, but rather just wooden logs with drapes on them.
If you’re in the area, I would save my money and go to a better massage place- one that does not insult or take advantage of customers. Why advertise a $48 massage when you accost customers for an additional $15-20? The business needs to be transparent with people and raise the price of the massage if their massage is “worth” more than $48...(which it is not)...
