We took this tour on our first day in Waco and it was one of the highlights of our visit! Scott, our tour guide, was so much fun - he was very witty and funny and very knowledgeable about all things Waco and all things Magnolia! He was very open to questions, and created a very relaxed atmosphere among all of us - we all felt like friends by the end of the tour!
We loved seeing several houses that Chip and Joanna had renovated (we even got to go inside the Little Pigs House) and also loved seeing some of their upcoming renovations. The tour stops off at Clint Harp's shop and Jimmy Don's place - Jimmy Don even came out to the van and welcomed us all personally, took selfies with us, and made us feel very welcome. We also really enjoyed learning a bit about the history of Waco - lots of stuff I did not know before taking this tour.
I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone who is a Fixer Upper fan. We just stumbled on the ad for the tour in a brochure - no one had told us about it ahead of time - but now I am telling everyone I know who is going to Waco. You don't want to miss this!
This tour picks up and drops off at the Hilton Waco, which is where we were staying, so the logistics could not have been easier. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because you will get in and out of the van a few times, but there is not a lot of walking. Definitely bring a camera too!
