We had such a great time on our hiking tour. Jenny and Niko were very knowledgeable about the area. We learned about some of the plant life, saw a couple of different waterfalls, and took in some beautiful views. We had a 12 year old and 7 year old and they had no issues keeping up with the hike. We would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to learn more about this region.

The trip was so great ! I met people I never would when met and hiked places I am sure I would not have found on my own. Shuller was knowledgeable and told us about Asheville, the forest, trees and bugs!!! It was amazing. I highly recommend taking a tour with a guide. I was skeptical at first and didn’t think it would be worth the money. It was well Worth the money and we enjoyed the whole thing start to finish!!!

I am an avid edible gardener and love plants and plant history. Learning the Cherokee favored plants and the plants helpful to the early settlers put this tour over the top for me. The forests were tall, very green and gorgeous. Ditto the waterfalls ! Schuyler was our knowledgeable guide, a botanist by training and plants woman by trade. Thank you !
