Maui Mountain Activities offers horseback rides that take you up into the West Maui Mountains to view waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance, then down to the coastline to ride alongside the Pacific Ocean. Experience the tranquility of Maui's native rainforests and the beauty of its waters. There is a run spot where you can run your horse, if you want (weather permitting), and your guides will take photos of you with your camera along the way. Tour through the petting zoo and experience up close the many animals, which may include mini horses, geese, rabbits, guinea pigs, pigs, and sheep. This is a 2 hour tour. Soft drinks are provided and complimentary.

ACCURATE body weights are mandatory. If you exceed the body weight given to us by 10 pounds, we will try to see if there is a horse that can accommodate you. If we do not have a horse to accommodate you, you will be unable to ride and will not be refunded.

Horses were well taken care of. Lots of other cute animals running around the ranch. Beautiful scenery on the trail and guides take plenty of pictures of you. Horses are paired up to rider by experience and size. The opportunity to run is priceless. I almost never do trail rides in the US because they don’t let you gallop. I would definitely return.

We had a great time with our group! Sierra was a great tour guide! Be prepared to have dirt in your nostrils afterwards due to a lot of dust flying around from the trail

This was a wonderful and unique experience in Maui. Our Trail Guide , Ricardo, was entertaining and engaging, making the ride that much better. There were some fabulous photo ops, but more importantly, just taking in nature on a horse was enough to add this to your Hawaii list of things to do. The short riding lesson was really good, even if you have ridden before. The opportunity to cantor.. big plus!
