We sailed out on the 1 pm cruise yesterday. The weather was gorgeous, due to traffic we were slightly delayed, and arrived a few minutes after the scheduled departure time, My wife called ahead and they said to try our best and they would wait, which they did. Captain Jeff Stewart and crew were excellent hosts, and we were able to see several pods of dolphins as well as several hump back whales. My wife, two grandchildren, mother-in-law and I had a great time and plan on coming back again. And Captain Stewart I promise to be early for any return visits.
Also, I would like to echo Pilar007's comments, this is an ocean going tour vessel, Rough waves & ride are a fact of life. If you are prone to motion sickness, begin take preventative medication well in advance, continue taking it until after you arrive back ashore as your inner ear does take some time to settle down. If you do feel nauseous go to the rear of the boat as the ride is smoother back there and if you do feeling vomiting do so over the stern, no down the sides or onto the deck. If you must use the head, either clean up after yourself or immediately notify a crew member. Always maintain at least three points of contact, two feet, one hand, two hands one foot, etc, when moving about if you are not comfortable moving around on a boat of any size. Remember you don't do this all the time and even if you think you have sea legs you don't.
But again, great trip Captain Stewart, see you and the crew again.
