Join Captain Jeff Stewart and his seasoned crew as your cruise into the Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean for a 3-hour whale and dolphin watching experience. The Delaware Bay Estuary is a sanctuary for many species of marine life, including Humpback whales, Atlantic Bottlenose dolphins, Manta rays, Thresher sharks, Hammerhead sharks, Harbor porpoise, Harbor seals, Northern gannets, Greater shearwaters, Bald Eagles, laughing gulls and a plethora of fish species. This cruise allows for an awesome offshore experience for the family, as well as seasoned adventurers and seafarers alike, and is fully narrated by your captain, who will point out local history along with many types of marine life.
The vessels in the Cape May Whale Watcher fleet, include the 110 foot long Cape May Whale Watcher and the 125 foot long Atlantis. They are the largest of their kind, offering air conditioning and heat, restrooms, upper deck seating and full bars with snacks and libations. They offer max comfort!

What a wonderful excursion for all ages! We had a great time with our daughter and grandson (who just graduated from the Coast Guard). We saw dolphins that put on a show for us and got a wonderful and informative narrative from the captain as we traveled around the cape. And then that sunset! Beautiful! I would highly recommend taking this cruise.

While in Cape May with my family for a few days we decided to try the Cape May Whale Watcher afternoon tour. We've been on whale watch trips in other places, so we have a basis for comparison. The boat is clean and reasonably comfortable. There's a snack bar available, and they have binoculars available to rent. The trip takes you out of the harbor, along the Cape May and Wildwood coast and offshore in search of whales. The views of the coastal communities from the water can be interesting. We saw our hotel and parts of the boardwalk that we'd been on the night before. The water can be a little rough. We saw quite a few Dolphins, some close to the boat. We didn't see any whales, but that was not for any lack of trying by the crew. They stayed out a little later than planned to keep up the search. A nice afternoon on the water. If you go, buy your tickets ahead of time on line and get a big discount!

Had a great trip with the family yesterday. The entire experience was very well-run. The boat was more comfortable than expected and in very good condition. The crew clearly makes an effort in maintaining the boat. The captain provided tons of information during the trip over a very clear PA system. We set upon a pod of dolphin immediately after clearing the inlet. We chased multiple pods of dolphin for the first 1.5 hours. We may have seen 100+ animals. The captain then announced a report of a whale sighting down the coast. We quickly cruised over to the location. We arrived and waited only a minute or two before two humpback whales surfaced and "logged." We spent the next hour observing them. There were many, many breaches, dives, spouts, and a few tail flukes. The trip was much more exciting than what we expected. Highly recommend.
