This two-and-a-half hour whale watch tour with a certified naturalist departs from the Kailua-Kona pier during whale season (December to April). Hear singing males on the PA system through a hydrophone and take photos of whales up-close. Snacks and beverages are included (no-host bar also available). Whale sightings are guaranteed, or you can come again free!

We saw a couple of whales in the distance. Which I get. You cannot predict when you will see them. But the boat was very hot and all we did was wait in one spot when we could have been moving to have a breeze. We did a whale watch in Maui that was not like this. We saw plenty of whales and the boat kept moving to keep people comfortable. Not sure what the issue is, maybe gas is expensive. Maybe they do it this way to keep away from whales. Not sure. But it was too hot to do that to people.

Aloha janetrF9376ZJ, It's unfortunate that you did not enjoy your Whale Watch with us. There's actually a method to how we go about watching for whales. We have radio communication with all other vessels in the water and have "spotters' on land. You're correct Whales are unpredictable. We have to date had an exceptionally awesome Whale Watching season! It's too bad on the day that you joined us the were not as active as we and your would have preferred. We have only our guests best interest in mind and cannot imagine why your take away was as your reported. Regardless we wish you the very best!

Dennis, Chris and Elliot made this whale watching adventure fantastic! These guys love what they do and they took such good care of us too. We were with a group of four adults. We learned so much about whales from Dennis. We were able to see some humpback whales breaching. It was an afternoon well spent and I would recommend this excursion if you want to learn a great deal and have fun.
