Although the boat trip from Friday Harbor up to where the whales were (Canadian waters) was a bit long (one hour), we certainly had the opportunity to see more than 20-30 when we got there. Well worth it.

Beautiful scenery, an awesome experience shared in learning about orca whales, my family was inspired by the whales and learned much by the nature specialist & captain of the boat. We saw and heard the whales- it was more than we expected.

This was our first time whale watching. San Juan Safaris provided a wonderful adventure. From booking the trip to the trip itself it was an awesome experince. The staff was very nice and helpful, as well as very knowledgeable. We loved it. We will definitely be doing the tour again and I'll recommend San Juan Safaris to everyone. Thank you!!!
