Our Captain, Brian, took us right to a pod of Southern Resident killer Whales North of San Juan Island. He says they have not seen these Resident whales in these waters for the past five months. The whole crew was excited about that. Typically they have only been observing transient Orcas.

We had to travel about 30 miles but we did finally find 2 orcas! It was pretty cool seeing them in the wild. The crew was great and answered our many questions. The only thing that could improve would be not so many people on board.

A great group of tour operators. We were able to find the orcas rather easily and were given so much personal info from the guides. Super comfortable boat to be in and that's saying a lot because I throw up on all boats!
