This is the fourth whale watch we have been on with Cape Ann Whale Watch. Every time we vacation in Rockport/Gloucester we always book a whale watch and every single on is different. We have been on short boat rides witha ton of time with just a few whales. We have been through fog, we have been on beautiful trips. This time it was not nice weather, it was breezy, cold and windy. But at one point we were surrounded by Atlantic White Striped Dolphins, and I don't mean a few, I mean as far as the eye could see, jumping out of the water. It was magical. We had a long ride to Cape Cod. At one point I looked at my husband, knowing that there was another tour and said "we are going to have to turn around" but they knew where they were headed and when we saw whales they were everywhere. The water was so clear that for the first time I could see the full outline of just how big these humpbacks really are. We got a quick glimpse of a Minke in there as well. They took so much time with us that they delayed the next trip so that we could spend an adequate amount of time with the whales before heading back. I would recommend Cape Ann Whale Watch to anyone, they are a wonderful whale watch!

The reviews for this tour were very positive and so we were looking forward to our trip to see Whales for the first time. We were not disappointed. Not only did we see 10 different whales, our naturalist, Jamie, was so engaging and informative. Definitely got our moneys worth and would absolutely recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Great experience. Highly recommend. The staff was very nice, caring and knowledgeable. Wine, beer and mixed drinks served aboard at the snack bar.
