My daughter and I signed up for the Fat Bike Tour in Anchorage and we're so glad we picked this company. As novices, we were interested in a basic introduction to the sport and Alaska Trail Guides really delivered for us. We met our guides, Elly and Frankie, in the parking lot at Bicentennial Park and spent two hours on the trails. As it turned out, this tour gave us everything we hoped for as we tested our balance on the single track, negotiated bridges and pedaled up and down some gentle hills. The bikes were in tip top shape and Elly was very knowledgeable about fat biking, the equipment and the network of trails around Anchorage. There were plenty of highlights including a moose and calf, a dog sled race, and mountain vistas. We are both hooked on fat biking and look forward to exploring more trails this winter.
