Structurally the tour is good. A walking tour where you will be fascinated by the historical stories of this age old city and sample diverse eats and desserts was the premise of what we expected. We did get that, but is was very light on the history of Ybor and nothing on the restaurants we ate in or their food. We would have liked more on the architecture, culture and evolutionary changes. Left us yearning for more. The food was good cross section, but the restaurants were largely unengaged with the tour. We weren't welcomed by anyone. We sat where we could, and not together, they dropped the food and left. They were not prepared nor was it part of their process to serve anything else other than the food selection and maybe a glass of water. It might have been due to the servers gratuity was prepaid. The dessert at the coffee/cigar bar was given to us in a wrinkled bag that came from somewhere we don't know where. The tour was a good idea and it provided a general idea of the Ybor's history. I would suggest it as a nice way to enjoy a first visit to the area. Our guide was somewhat knowledgable and helpful when we asked.
