Join Ye Olde Tavern Tours to see 10 sites on the Freedom Trail-including the site of the Boston Massacre and the Old State House-and grab a drink at 3 historic taverns. Beer and/or hard cider is included in the ticket price, so all you need to do is show up ready for fun.

Our guests want a unique and memorable way to learn about Boston's revolutionary (and drunken) history and for the past ten years, we have delivered. Our guides are expertly-trained historians who are also incredibly personable. Our founder, owner, and frequent tour guide has a PhD in American history and is a two-time author. We know our stuff and are passionate about sharing the most interesting stories.

We cap each tour at 12 people to provide an intimate experience. Ye Olde Tavern Tours is the most fun and social way to experience Boston!

My husband and I had a great time. Kristen our Tour Guide was awesome! She was very knowledgeable about the history of Taverns in Boston! We will definitely be back!

Elizabeth was on point and very enthusiastic about the history of Boston. She was extremely knowledgeable and created a great overall experience. I've been on tours in the past where I'm waiting for them to end...NOT THIS TOUR! It was about 2.5 hours and easily could have been 4 hours and she still would have kept our attention. They also keep the groups smaller so it's a much better experience. It was definitely the highlight of my trip to Boston. I would recommend it to anyone.

First time in Boston for my wife and I. Took the Ye Olde Tavern Tour on May 24. Easy meet up at the Boston Commons with our guide Elizabeth. She was awesome. Very knowledgeable funny and energetic. Took our group on an interesting and fun walking tour. Saw and learned more in the 2+ hours with her than in any history class. Stopped at 3 really cool old pubs with plenty of their own history. Would do it again if we ever make our way back there again.
