Join us as we discover the History of Christmas in the colony while exploring the handcrafted decorations that adorn the historic buildings.

On our 1-hour leisurely stroll thru the city, you will have the opportunity to photograph some of the most iconic decorations that are uniquely Colonial Williamsburg. Handcrafted one-of-a-kind decorations made by employees and residents of the city are beautifully and proudly displayed on each building and we will discover the most beautiful and unique of this year's display.

We will discover the religious, humorous, and heartfelt traditions that span the centuries. While learning how the decorations are made, how they became a tradition, and even helpful tips and tricks on how the create your own decorations at home.

Christmas in Colonial Williamsburg is truly an experience that you and your family will cherish for years to come.

If you have never been to Williamsburg be advised that the signs are almost nonexistent We never made it to the tour due to poor information on meeting place

The city of williamsburg is in charge of signage. I have double checked the meeting place listed on tripadvisor. It is correct. I'm not sure how that could be any clearer. You told me at the tour start time you were en route and 15 mln after the tour start that you couldn't find parking. I answered each and every question and waited 30 min for you. I didn't hear from you again until the tour end time. I offered other tours. I'm not sure how I could have communicated better.

Lonnie met us at the designated place right on time. Due to the cold weather, we were the only couple there and essentially had our own private tour. Lonnie was ery knowledgeable and familiar with all the locations and gave pointers on how to construct the arrangements if we chose to make our own.

Wonderful guide and we learned some interesting facts. Our guide was friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed this one hour walk. It was just enough and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own the rest of the day.
