Get ready for an adventure in the Alaskan wilderness with an ATV tour from Denali. On an automatic single or double ATV, you'll ride along trails surrounded by Denali National Park at speeds up to 30 mph (48 kph), and make stops to enjoy 360-degree views of the Alaska Range, Otto Lake, and the Healy Valley. Traverse rocky creek beds and splash through the water (weather permitting) as a guide leads you through the rugged terrain and provides opportunities for photography. Wildlife is abundant, so watch for moose on the trail. When booking, select from several departure times and decide whether you want a single or 2-passenger side-by-side ATV.

Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. We had the opportunity to stop and snap some photos of the beautiful mountain range. On our adventure we saw a large grizzly bear on the road. Wish we could have gone a little faster, but we understand the liability.

Great opportunity to get into the back country without hiking or worrying about bear encounters. Staff friendly and safety conscious. Several breaks to get off ATV to get some great pics, stretch the legs or switch drivers. We live in AK and were impressed with how knowledgeable the staff was about AK history and geography. (My husband & I are both History teachers). We went on a cloudy and sometimes rainy day (not unusual in AK in Aug) and still managed to get some great pics. We used a side by side while our daughter rode a single. Side x side less dusty, more comfortable seating, and keeps you drier in rain. Wear layers as temp and weather conditions can vary due to elevation changes and AK weather in general. Even in summer we pack long johns, gloves, and winter hat. Didn't need on this trip to Denali, but have used them on past trips in summer : ).
