The only thing wrong with it was the long cramped bus ride. Otherwise, it was wonderful.
If we could rate this with 0 stars, we would.
We do not recommend taking this tour during winter and if you don't have a Canadian visa because it's poor value for money. Basically what happens is, you'll get on the bus, and go straight to Canada, with a few comfort breaks.
You don't spend any time on the American side if you have a Canadian visa (if you don't have a Canadian visa, they'd just drop you off at the American side, tell you to go wander around by yourself and pick you up in the morning).
Just because it's winter, the tour doesn't stop by any of the lakes en route. Tour guide was poor and wasn't engaging with the group while just basically reading out facts. He spent more personal time with the Israeli family in the group, leaving the rest of the English speakers in the dark the rest of the time and didn't meet our expectations of a tour guide. The bus driver on the other hand swerved a lot as if he was falling asleep. If you're sitting at the back of the coach and are susceptible to motion sickness, this really is unpleasant.
The description of this tour on the website is poor. They list out plenty of things to do in the itinerary (and many are on the American side of the Falls), but will skip them all during winter.
On a seperate note, the Niagara Falls is quite a spectacular sight in winter, if you're willing to brave the cold. Just don't bother taking this tour, since you'd be better off on your own.
Overall was a great trip. Both driver and guide were friendly and had good energy. But the driver wasn't allowed to cross the border. Everything else was fantastic.
