I wish I could give a zero rating. The meeting place did not specify that parking was in another location. The tour guide was out front at the location, saw our confusion as to the lack of parking and disappeared inside. I had to run in and ask about parking and was instructed to go across the street to park. He said he would wait for us. He did not. We asked at the desk and were directed to the coffee shop. He was not there and would not answer his phone. I have never been stuck and left without any guidance or apologies like I was today. I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS TOUR TO ANYONE. The customer service instructed me to call the tour guides number to reach him. I guess they should have instructed him to answer. Disappointed, let down and angry.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Everyone else on the tour had no problem with the parking situation. You arrived late. The tour was supposed to start at 11am. Yes, it was originally said that group would wait for you, but when you were not heard from 10-15 minutes later, we moved on. The rest of the people, who arrived on time, were anxious to start their tour. Rightfully so. Yes, you called once at 11:30. 30 minutes after the tour was supposed to start. Your call was not answered because the tour had started. Lily and Brent were knowledgeable about Helen and how it became Alpine Helen. They were personable and fun. We especially loved the gem mining and wine tasting. A very good tour, but be ready to walk. Thank you!

How the town of Helen, GA came about to exist and a surprise appearance of Big Foot. The tour started on time and the guides laid out the plan of the tour.
