We take off from the Embassy Suites in Downtown Tampa and zoom quickly by the Amalie Arena. From there, we coast onto the Tampa Riverwalk, which follows the majestic Hillsborough River to the scenic Curtis Hixon Park. Take in panoramic views of the city and the bay and return to the Embassy Suites to round out your tour.

Really cool experience. The guide was cool, the trip was nice, we learned a lot on the city. The equipment was in good shape.

Barrett was our tour guide. He rode his segway barefoot and without a helmet ... way to show the proper safety procedures. The guide didn't bother helping guests get on and off the segways at the different stops. And one of the riders had only ridden a segway once about 7 years ago. Thankfully I am very expeienced and my wife has ridden wuite a few times in the last couple years. Yet I was still the one that stepped up and helped the inexperinced rider get on and off. Very suprised this location doesn't offer any kind of water for their guests ... this is Tampa after all ... and it was damn hot out. I should have brought my water bottle ... but these segways didn't have any kind of pouch that I would have been able to carry it in anyway ... which means that I would have had to ride my segway one handed ... not very safe The "tour: itself was basic. The guide offered rudimentary information about different spots on the tour. He was most forthcoming about the stops on the college campus ... I assume that is because he goes to school there. All in all .... i gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the two hour experience helped me to realize that the area I wanted to walk around wouldn't have been worth the time it would have taken me to get there.

Great experience. Great opportunity to see Tampa. Great tour guide(can’t remember his name however it was the 1:30pm tour). Had no prior experience riding a Segway however, after instruction, very easy to operate with confidence.
