Sail Tahoe Blue is the premier sailing charter in South Lake Tahoe. We offer a unique sailing adventure and include complementary local beer and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages on all of our daily cruises.

Unlike other tour boats which take 50+ passengers, our sailing yacht, "Blue", limits our capacity to 18 passengers. If you care to enjoy the beauty of propulsion by Mother Nature without the sound and smell of an engine, come sail with us!

Sail Tahoe Blue cruises focus on sailing and sharing the beauty of Lake Tahoe, we do not offer guided tours. Please note that we will be sailing and that the sailboat is powered by the wind, so our route is wind dependent. We do not sail to Emerald Bay on our public charters, as it is too far of a distance to sail in two hours.

Met at the harbor. We saw reviews that said you have to pay to park, we didn’t see anything that required us to pay to park. Met at the blue tent the says Sail Tahoe Blue. Got on board and enjoyed two hours of sailing. No narrative, but the sailer will answer any questions about the lake that you have. Free flowing wine, beer, seltzers, and nonalcoholic beverages. Both the sailer and his one member crew were very nice and friendly. I do wish there was more information regarding Lake Tahoe, but still very much enjoyed our time in the boat talking to other guests.

We loved our sunset cruise. Nice boat & great staff. The captain was very engaging with all the passengers. It was nice meeting other passengers on the cruise.

We enjoyed! The Captain and his mate super friendly. I felt safe with him. I would reccommend. We celebrated our 24 year anniversary.
