The ride to and from the Everglades was long. The bus was comfortable, but it would be nice if there were outlets/plugs to charge our phones or if the tour guide gave us information about Miami and the Everglades while we were driving.
The boat ride was a decent length, but underwhelming (slow). We saw 4 alligators' noses from a distance, and 1 whole alligator up close. Again, to make the experience better, the tour guide could provide a lot more information/facts throughout the ride.
The alligator show was entertaining and educational - it was the best part.
The photo with the baby alligator was rushed and the worker holding the baby alligator was rude with poor customer service. We were a group of 4, but one person in our group wanted her own photo. He told us she could only be in one photo (either a solo or the group). He then rudely told us she could pay $10 for her solo photo and be in both. We were happy to pay for it, just don't be rude.
On the way back to the hotel, the bus broke down and we had to get off and Uber the rest of the way home. I'd go again, but just know you get what you pay for...adjust your expectations accordingly and you won't be disappointed.
