We signed up for a ride through the desert, where we had a great time. Our guide Derek was excellent at telling us about the desert and all the plants in it. He also informed us about the different animals in the desert and which ones to stay clear of. The next time we come down, we hope to get Derek as our tour guide again.

We did this tour on 3/28/21 with Derik and Travis. It was amazing! The views were great and we actually learned some things too. This would be a great time for teenagers, couples, or even a girls trip!

Mike and Derik were our guides. We had 8 adults and 8 kids (ages 8-13). This trip was amazing. It was such a different trip than what we expected. We couldn't believe some of the rocks we were climbing over. This was an amazing experience for all of us. I really liked the fact that we were able to stop at different points of the journey to understand more about the desert. The kids really enjoyed that as well. Here's what topped it for us. Someone in our group dropped their phone during the trip and found out after we got back. Both Mike and Derik took the TomCar out using find my phone and found it! It was a little damaged but it was so nice of them to do this for us. This tour is highly recommended. My recommendation is to come there a little early and eat at the road runner restaurant since this is where it starts. The food is pretty good here as well as the service. You can then just start the tour with the group after your lunch. We did the 2-5 pm tour with the kids so that worked out great for us.
