Awesome bumpy trail ride on the way in and you take a different rock filled trail on the way out. What a beautiful way to see the desert. We saw several different cactus species and also some wild javalinas. It was 74 and sunny the day we went but we didn't account for the wind in the desert so make sure to dress warmer than you think. Everything you bring will get a good coating of dust as well so keep that in mind if traveling. We wore tennis shoes, pants and t-shirts - bring a jacket :) Sunglasses are a must as well as you'll need them for eye protection. They have safety glasses if you need them though. The machine gun selection was amazing. My 20-23 age sons were thrilled and shot almost all of them. They give you ear protection as well. Todd was amazing. His knowledge of the guns and the reasons they were developed made it so interesting. He takes his job seriously though so don't worry about safety. They are top notch in that category. This is not one of those trips you take and then say well I guess that was okay. What an awesome day we will never forget! When's the last time you had an opportunity to shoot a weapon mounted to a vehicle! Awesome!

Travis and Jim were great guides and we had a lot of fun! The cars were a lot of fun to drive. We even got to sample some chola cactus!

Our family recently vacationed in Arizona for spring break and we surprised our two teenagers with the desert tour on the last day of our stay. It was the highlight of our trip and we had the B E S T time too. Derik was an amazing guide and we enjoyed his funny stories throughout the tour. He was also very attentive and made sure all vehicles stayed together. We also appreciated the bottled water he brought for us and for offering to take our family's pictures multiple times too. It was cool and windy that day so layering and a sweatshirt would have come in handy. We highly recommend this crazy fun adventure to everyone! Derik will show you a great time!
