Hey y'all, my name is Bryan. I love the mountains, wilderness, wildlife, culture, and history of the Great Smokey Mountains!

My ancestors, both Cherokee and early Appalachians, have called Western NC. & Eastern TN. home since prior to the Trail of Tears. of 1832–1838.

As a historian and naturalist adventure guide, with a degree in Environmental Sciences, I strive to provide each guest with an amazing SAFARI JEEP, ECO, ELK, WILDERNESS ADVENTURE-coupled with Cherokee and early Appalachian, Smokey Mountain history, legend, and lore. The Smokies are designated as an (UN INTERNATIONAL BIOSPHERE RESERVE & WORLD HERITAGE SITE) with over 50,000 different species of plants and animals.

Come get wild in the Smokies, where once-in-a life time experiences are had and cherished for generations to come with Scenic Tours and Adventures in Maggie Valley, NC.

On April 24th, 2024 I surprised my wife for her birthday by booking the (4hr) guided safari jeep tour. "Coaltrain" hope I got his nickname correct, was a fabulous guide and shared his knowledge of the area along with his family heritage from the area. It was clear he was passionate about his job and the native culture. If you enjoy seeing the area from off the beaten path, then this is the tour for you. Thanks again for making a birthday gift enjoying and informative. Dave and Cheryl.

Our guide, Cole, did a wonderful job at gauging our interests and taking us to see different locations that fit the needs of our whole group of five ages 4-45. He was personable and shared a glimpse into how people live in this area. Our toddler had gotten exhausted and Cole was even wonderful in trying to distract her. The weather was rainy but we were still able to see a beautiful waterfall, lots of elk, and historic buildings. Highly recommend the tour especially having Cole to help share his love of the area.
