We knew the likelihood of spotting alligators at 11am on a hot day was almost zero but our captain did a good job of finding a couple swimming about. The views are stunning and the ride was exhilarating. We took the hour tour but it is very expensive. The Native American village was smaller than expected however the talk from two snakes was very good and interesting. We spent a couple of hours here but it is not an all day thing. Didn’t realise there were two location so might try the other next time.

We decided to take a break from MM Florida and spend an afternoon on an airboat ride. The concierge at the hotel said that other tourists had enjoyed Buggy Creek and how pleased we are that she pointed us in your direction. An exciting airboat ride for definite but Captain Chris also gave us lots of information about the fascinating wildlife and gorgeous plants to be seen on Lake Tohopekaliga - brilliant. Followed up with an ice-cream and a game of draughts on the covered restaurant porch whilst waiting for the very informative presentation at the native American village. I would definitely recommend Boggy Creek Airboat Adventures to anyone visiting central Florida.

I wasn't sure if my children, girls aged 6-9, would enjoy this trip as it was very different to the theme parks we had been to for the last two weeks, but I was really pleased that they loved it. We managed to get the front row of the boat which was great as we had an unobstructed view. It was all very safe without being overly cautious, which led to a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The airboat captain was clearly very skilled and knew what he was doing and eventually managed to track down a big gator, but the real surprise was to see so many cows! 30 mins was probably enough for the children but I think we could have done with a bit more time out on the water. Overall, a great experience for all the family and a good way to see a bit of Florida that isn't the parks.
