We have kayaked with Aloha 3 times now, 3 different guides. All were friendly, engaging, and aware of everyone while kayaking and snorkeling. They also new the area well, which helped when we were out looking for whales. Customer service has been excellent as well. Our most recent trip had, unfortunately, multiple reservation changes, as well as a morning-of last minute addition to our group. Aloha was responsive and accommodating to our requests. Highly recommend not only for the people, but also the many snorkeling spots of the coast and the amazing, up-close whale watching during the winter months. As you are out on the water for a while, this may be difficult with younger kids.

We enjoyed the snorkeling portion the best with close encounters with a number of sea turtles allowing us to share their part of paradise.

First of all, Griff was awesome! My partner and I were the only two booked for the day, and so we had our own personal guide the whole time. Griff was knowledgeable about Hawaii's history and full of passion for this wonderful place. Our journey began with kayaking. About 5 minutes in, we saw an 8-foot Manta Ray breach the water just 25 yards from the kayak! It was spectacular. Then, we found a pod of dolphins and kayaked with them for about 40 minutes - they were swimming under the kayak and right next to us! Last, we snorkeled and saw many sea turtles as well as some tropical fish. On the way back to shore, Griff scored us a bonus treat (Mahalo, Griff!). The overall experience was outstanding!! I would definitely recommend this company and the Deluxe Makena Turtle Snorkel Tour (the tour we took) - overwhelmingly beautiful and spiritual.
