We booked on a Monday at 1p and there were only about 10 of us! Made for a casual trip and plenty of room to move where we wanted on the boat. It was very lax which was great. The crew was so nice and fun, and they tried to spot dolphins for us (which there were a few jumping in our wake on the way back for quite some time! It was great).
Boat was clean, large coolers with ice and bottled water to help yourself.
We left our belongings sitting on the boat knowing they were perfectly safe.
Helpful tips for others:
-The dock is located about 100+ yards to the right of the Marina building. At the time of boarding there should be someone standing at the gate to get right in from the pediastrian path. (We tried getting into marina building and we were confused, and no signage to see where "dock Q" is, but then luckily we saw the boat)
- parking: we were not provided any direction on parking in the instructions either. But because it was a Monday, there was plenty of parking in the lot right by the boat, and 6 hour max for parking spots was perfect. (Meters are only 4hours)
-know that you may be waist deep in water getting on/off the boat the island, depending on the tide.
- also, 2 hours goes quick and we barely got to see much of anything because we didn't know where to go. We may have missed any tips given to the group on the boat, and could have asked, but we didn't know we were gonna get off the boat with no signage or any tips for which direction to wander. So ask for help before getting off the boat. (Suggestion, having the crew show a map or give any suggestions of what to find/see would be helpful)
Vinnie and the crew were so welcoming and helpful. Recommended for a day trip (can walk the pier to grab lunch or appetizer at Teaki at end of pier beforehand)
Boat is great, clean, comfortable, and the crew was wonderful. Better than the $30 crammed old catamarans small bathrooms and no amenities. Definitely worth it for this one!
And bring cash to tip! :)
Thank you to the crew. We will be back.
