My husband took our two teen kids on this excursion and they had a blast! The zip lines started out low and moderate and progressively got higher and faster so it was perfect for first timers. I didn’t want to participate but they were nice enough to let me come along to watch and take pictures and didn’t charge me like the others companies wanted to do. The only reason i gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because they advertised that they had a World War II museum but really it was a plane and a few jeeps in a tent but still interesting to see. Overall my family had fun!

My in laws and I had an amazing experience with this company. Brandon (Professor), Drew (Gonzo), and Donovan (Turtle) were AMAZING guides. First off, when the weather threatened (as it frequently does), they had free rain jackets for us to borrow. From then on, it was a flawless time with amazing views and our knowledgeable guides who kept us extremely safe. Make sure to ask Professor about his jokes, because he is full of them. This is a must visit place for anyone on the island of Maui!

Overall, fun but not worth the price and would not do it again. For some negatives to be aware of, the group I went with was a relatively small one so the entire tour lasted about 1 hour 30 minutes. There are 7 10-25 second ziplines on the course, so none that really stand out as being long or very high. They don't go through any sort of special terrain either, just one platform to another. When the tour was finished, we had the option of paying $30 per group for the photos that were taken by the tour crew. When the girl swiped my card and asked how much of a tip I wanted to leave for the guides I told her $5 would be good, because I figured they earn a LOT of money already. When you think of a small group of 7 people (which is actually a very small group) at $119 per person for a total of $833 for just an hour and 30 minutes with 2 tour guides, the company is certainly making a good sum of cash. SO the issue I have is that when I said I'd leave a $5 tip, the girl said, more than once, "keep in mind, the guides depend on those tips just like a waiter or waitress." This came at a big surprise to me because of how much money the company actually makes. So I was either being lied to (which I don't really think was the case), or the North Shore Zipline Co. needs to pay their crew much more. The tourists are already dropping a ton of money to do these types of things on Maui, and don't like being pressured to tip like I was. For the positives, it was my first time ziplining and it was still very fun. I enjoyed it along with the rest of the group, and the tour guides, Jesse and Cody, were super fun tour guides and awesome guys to go with! The crew also let my brother-in-law and my sister join my group Even though they were scheduled for a different time, which was really nice. They deserve to be paid more!
