This moving and evocative tour of Ground Zero begins at the site of what served as a rescue center for victims and place for mementos after the attacks: St. Paul's Chapel. This historic church was miraculously unharmed when the Twin Towers fell despite being only a block away.

You'll then walk to the 9/11 Memorial where we'll reflect on the lives lost in the World Trade Center attacks. See "Reflecting Absence," the largest artificial waterfalls on the continent. Your guide will share the meaning behind the memorial, stories from the day, and how New Yorkers came together in the aftermath.

From there, begin a self-guided tour in the lobby of the Freedom Tower by watching "Voices," a film dedicated to the men and women of the Twin Towers and Freedom Tower.

Upgrade your experience to take the "Sky Pod" elevator 1,250 feet up to the One World Observatory, where you can see the NYC skyline stretching across Manhattan.

Despite the appalling weather that day, we had a blizzard, the tour was excellant and the guide full of interesting but not boring information. The trip up the One world observatory was rearranged due to the weather but when we did go we observed sunset over New York amazing

It wasn't as good as the previous tour we went on a few years ago. She totally missed out the church! Also, as the guide was only 9 years old at the time of 9/11, so it was stretching it a bit to claim she had some special insight, apart from just happening to not be able to go to school for a week or two - no doubt like 1,000s of other kids at the time. We didn't learn anything new.

The tour guide was great and knew so much about 9/11. It was fascinating and emotional to hear his story and stories from others about the day. I don't think there is anyone from my generation who doesn't remember where they were when 9/11 happened. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting NYC.
