On our ghost walk, you'll travel the sea-sprayed Shore Path, where you might catch a glimpse of a ghost or even a sea serpent. You'll learn the history behind a variety of mysterious local incidents and expand your knowledge of the supernatural with accounts of the three major types of ghosts: residual manifestations, intelligent hauntings, and poltergeists. The weird tales include the strange goings-on at otherwise opulent lodgings like the Balance Rock Inn, the legendary Bar Harbor Club, and several other paranormal hotspots about town.

Tom shared cool stories and made the experience fun and spooky! Although we did not see any ghosts ourselves, we felt as if we were transported into a magical world.

Doug, aka Bob Ross, gave a believable account of the numerous ghost sightings. But what I enjoyed most was the history and biography of how Bar Harbor came to be. Great in put on where to get the best ice cream and pizza. Fun adventure!!!

This was a fun walking ghost tour around the tourist area in Portsmouth. Our guide, Tom Sawyer, was very engaging. There were many stops along the way for stories and pictures, so the 90 minutes was probably only 1/2 mile of walking. We did the late tour that night and the ground was a little uneven sometimes so consider that when booking.
