Excellent instruction in the art of paddling. Now I have more effective strokes and maneuvering. Now I just need to practice so I can stay out longer and go farther without fatigue or injury...... Thank you Astrid!..... P.S. I am looking forward to wet exit class this summer.

Astrid was an excellent instructor. She provided detailed information about launching your kayak; the best way to get in and out of your kayak and even personally demonstrated how to rescue yourself if your kayak flips over. She was thorough, patient and fun. Not only did we learn the basic maneuvers; she also advised us how to navigate a dangerous wave and what to look for when purchasing a kayak/paddles and necessary gear. I learned much more than I expected and feel confident that I can now kayak safely. I certainly got my money’s worth out of the class.and I highly recommend it for adults and kids.
