You will arrive are out Canon City location, check in with our friendly reservation staff, meet your guide for the day, be outfitted with necessary rafting gear, go through an in depth safety orientation and then hop on a van or bus for a short 5-10 min ride to the river put in

Royal Gorge Bridge and Park

Once you arrive at the river you will be given specific instructions by your guide and then hit the river for an amazing adventure. You will float through the world famous Royal Gorge! Amazing views of the America's tallest suspension bridge sitting 1,000 ft above the river and experience amazing whitewater on this trip. This is the premiere trip on the Arkansas River!

Had a great time on the Arkansas River. Have not rafted in many years so came into the day with an open mind. Weather and guide “billy” was fantastic. ART Outfitters were very professional. Totally recommend them! I plan on bring my kids along once they can swim.

This was our second whitewater trip with Arkansas River Tours, both trips were fantastic. The guides are very professional, friendly, and safety is stressed at all times. Remember to tip your guide, they are working very hard so we can have fun!!

Six friends got together for our 50th birthday in Colorado Spring. This year was special since some of us was getting together after 30 years! Kyle was a great guide with wonderful sense of humor. We had a blast on half day rafting on level IV and V. We learned how to paddle properly and enjoy the entire route. The entire staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for rafting.
