I went with my son on the 8 hour rock cod trip. The deckhands were really helpful. I got sea sick at the first fishing spot, and they got me back in the game in no time with a cup of hot water. I was thankfully able to enjoy my trip, and I got a whopper! 36 inch 18 lbs lingcod!

Viator once again came through! Absolutely spectacular excursion. We left the wharf seeing first otters then seals and got out into the choppy waters and saw two types of dolphins, one of which was the fastest dolphin - a Dall’s Porpoise- able to swim up to 34.5 miles an hour. Our captain, Danny, said that they rarely saw those particular dolphins. And then the real show came when we saw a large pod of orca whales, the males were up to the 30 foot lengths that they can grow to. They passed under the boat, next to the boat and they went around the boat. Close by, a film crew was filming them. Alfredo, our naturalist, was extremely knowledgeable about not only where the critters were but also about all types of fishing information. It was truly a remarkable time. The seas were very choppy until our return trip so be sure to be prepared with adequate motion sickness medication. Our April day had some wind that kicked up and that made the swells in the ocean a nice decent size. Fantastic time with our dearest friends. I cannot recommend Viator tours highly enough.

Amazing! Everything was perfect, the welcome, the staff, the whales at the Rendezvous as well as their friends the lions of li and... Birds in chaos!!! Only the sun has made us false-good, but whatever, well covered, we take full eyes and heart 🥰
