I couldn’t have chosen a better way to treat myself for my 48th Birthday than checking an item off my bucket list! The entire process was very smooth; from making the reservation to getting in the air. All staff was pleasant and accommodating. I was able to help get the ballon inflated! Our pilot Dean was exceptional, funny and charming and the father/son chase crew was phenomenal. I couldn’t have asked for a better cast of passengers either! We talked, asked questions and were able to put down our cameras and enjoy the 360 panoramic views...it was simply stunning! We toasted once back to the ground and were treated with snacks and then got our certificates! What a perfect day!

I've always wanted to take a ride in a hot air balloon. I thought that my anniversary would be the perfect reason to do so. I am so glad that I did. This business is very focused on customer service and safety. The pilot shared with us many historical facts about the recreational balloon industry and where the ceremonial champagne toast comes from. All around excellent activity. Although it is expensive, do it once in a lifetime and cross off another thing off of your bucket list. AWESOME and very enjoyable.

If you're wondering whether the hot air balloon ride is worth the splurge price, I say do it. Albuquerque offers an unique landscape to see from the balloon, broad, bright blue skies from which to view and, from our experience, gentle winds to escort you across the sky. Our balloon team support team and pilot, Troy, were extremely friendly and helped us enjoy a great experience up close including inflating the balloon, flying and landing (amazing how a landing on a relatively small plot of land is possible). While it was a relatively cold winter day, there is no wind while in the air (since you're traveling at the same speed of the wind), the heat of the flame kept us warm. The views are terrific with the pilot pivoting the basket numerous times so we could enjoy the views in all directions. We checked out 2 companies for a last minute booking. Rainbow Ryders were the most professional and efficient. Great experience from start to finish.
