Ali'i VIP Whale Tour
Get the Royal treatment on our Ali'i VIP Whale Tour! We limit this tour to a maximum of 11 guests, so you have more opportunities to view the Humpback whales, and other sea life, in the most comfort possible. Our vessels are USCG rated to carry 26 guests, but this tour is all about you and your experience and is limited to 11 guests.

The Ali'i VIP Whale Tour is only offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Children must be at least four (4) years old.

I want to thank Blue Water Maui, Captain Mark and First Mate Brain for an amazing day of whale watching! Mark and Brian were fun and professional! We were lucky enough to be stuck in “whale jail” for over an hour. Two very curious whales just would not leave us alone which meant we had a front row seat to watch in amazement as these whales playfully showed off their splashing, rolling and bubble making skills. This was truly a once in a lifetime event and I can’t thank Blue Water Maui enough for making this possible.

My daughter and I did our first whale watching tour with Blue Water and couldn't have had a better time. I booked the VIP tour to limit the number of people on the boat and make taking pictures easier. We had 6 adults and 1 small child, which meant that it was easy to move around. Chad (captain) and Brian (spotter) were as enthusiastic about watching the whales as were the passengers and were eager to share their knowledge about the whales and their behavior; they don't just give a canned talk. The boat is comfortable and clean. Would definitely book again.

FABULOUS!!! From beginning to end, I HIGHLY recommend this! I found this tour by chance on Trip Advisor and feel so fortunate! From booking until we docked after the tour, it was first rate! Brian and Mark were our Captain and Co-Captain and they were friendly and highly knowledgeable about the whales and the surrounding islands and waters!! We saw tons of whale activity too! We originally booked the 11am tour but were switched by staff to the 1:30pm tour at their discretion (they say upfront that your time could be changed if needed!), and it turned out beautifully! 7 adults, all strangers, and we had THE BEST time!! The staff and crew are great at communicating changes, directions, etc. Just can't say enough good things! Thanks Brian and Mark for a WONDERFUL WHALE OF TIME!!!
