From start to finish-it was a perfect day. The ride to Soaring Tree Tops by the Silverton Railroad, we were greeted by staff. Every details has already been thought out for a great experience! I love the respect, protection, and care that Soaring gives to all of the Ponderosa trees (No bolts and screws causing damage ) We were three siblings along with a family group of 6. Crew members were Erin, Kevin, Devon, and Haylen- who were great fun and kept us safe. At the middle of the day, a professional chef and her crew served our fabulous meal choices on platforms in the trees, before finishing up the 27 ziplines over the Animas river. Back by train for a full day!! This is our second time, and we plan to go back again. If you love ziplining and being treated like kings and queens, plus the outside adventure, PLEASE don't miss this NUMBER 1 best thing to do.

I absolutely love this place and the people! 2024 was my third time and I'll go again next year if I can. Tall Timber is spectacular in an old growth forest bordering the Animus River. The food for the included lunch is wonderful and they offer a vegetarian meal and will customize for small eaters. The narrow gauge Durango & Silverton railroad is terrific as well in the Tall Timber car.
