Waihee Ridge is in the Beautiful less visited West Maui Mountains and weaves through a lush forest filled with beautiful local trees and ferns. As you make your way up the Ridge you will be able to take in beautiful sweeping views of the sea, as-well-as other areas of the island. There will be views of lush rainforest valleys, and waterfalls in the distance.

My husband and I went for our honeymoon and it was the best experience ever. Andrew did an amazing job making us feel like we could go at our own pace and never failed to point out all the amazing views.

Absolutely great hike with incredible views of Maui! Our guide Andrew Stout gave us all kinds of insider info about the island and was very sensitive to the different abilities between myself and my daughter. We had excellent weather and clear 360 degree views. While I didn’t make it to the top my daughter did and deemed it the best thing we did all week, beating out scuba and surfing! It is not a long hike 2miles up and 2 miles down but it is very steep and the altitude is no joke! Andrew kept a pretty quick pace that suited my teen but I slowed down a bit and let them go ahead. He was entertaining and clearly had a deep love for the island and all it has to offer. Get there early so you can park in the smaller upper lot past the entrance. Park opens at 7. Bring appropriate shoes and water. I would also wear a hat! While the beginning of the trail is wider and paved it soon turns a bit rocky and does get narrower. Try to pick a clear day if you can as the rest of the week saw the mountain top shrouded in clouds.

Fantastic guide - I have a severe fear of heights and would not have made this trip without the very suttle support from Andrew. He is able to adjust the experience to the audience. Besides that, it is a beautiful hike in an amazing scenary. You can do it on your own, I would book Andrew anytime again and definitely recommend doing that - it gives you the full experience as he also knows about the surroundings and can give you information along the way
