Antelope Canyon X, located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, Arizona, is named after the Xs carved into the Navajo Sandstone created by millions of years of rainfall and wind. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon.

Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two.

Canyon X is a mixture of the characteristics of both the Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two and brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.

Fantastic tour of two slot canyons. Our guide, Orvid, was both personable and knowledgeable. The canyons were beautiful, even considering our winter visit. I imagine they’d be stunning with the sun higher. The tour was professionally conducted and the groups were small. This is well worth the visit!

Antelope canyon x by Taadidiin was absolutely wonderful! I highly recommend!!! Our tour guide was fabulous too! She helped us with photo settings and best photo spots. I wish I could remember her name but she is pictured with me in one of the photos. We went in November, ofc season at 11:30 and I thought lighting was pretty good but I had nothing to compare. I think our tour guide was the reason we got great pics. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

The landscape/caves were amazing. Our guide however provided very little information on the history, formation and changes over the years.
