I typically refrain from sharing negative feedback, but in this instance, it's warranted. While the guide was commendable, the locations visited left much to be desired. It appears they chose establishments without much consideration. The first stop offered only average coffee or tea. The subsequent taco venues were subpar, followed by an ice cream spot that, while good, lacked the charm of a neighboring homemade shop. Having pancakes at 3pm felt out of place and underwhelming. Overall, the tour's quality barely reached a C-/D grade, with seemingly poor choices in dining destinations. Having experienced numerous food tours, this one ranks among the least satisfying. I'd advise seeking alternatives, recalling a stellar experience in Austin eight years ago with a different company, which was truly exceptional.

We're happy we booked this food tour and got to experience different varieties of food within a few square blocks. Pola was our tour guide and was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone in the tour group was well taken care of. Some of the things we had were Texas BBQ (brisket of course), breakfast tacos, arepas, a food truck, local juice/smoothie place, and dessert (cheesecake flan). I'm glad we didn't really have breakfast, as we were quite stuffed by the end of it. Totally worth it!
