Learn about graffiti writer's motives, techniques, and etiquette from one Austin's most prominent local graffiti artists. We have a range of knowledge about graffiti world so be vocal about your curiosities!

BYOB on property!

To top off your experience, YOU will learn the foundational techniques to leave your mark on Austin’s graffiti scene from an authentic graffiti writer as you spray paint a wall — with permission. During this portion of the experience, your host will demonstrate their craft by personalizing your very own “hi my name is” T-shirt! *t-shirt is provided*

This is a really fun adventure. It does start a little slow but quickly you are learning about the Austin Graffiti scene, the different styles and the history of graffiti. The tour does end with plenty of time to test your skills at creating your own style and learning a few techniques along the way.

Andrew was a welcoming and nice guy. We anticipated seeing and learning more about the graffiti scene in Austin. However, we just walked around the block to see a few graffiti works but hoped for more. The paint your own graffiti experience was fun. Would have loved for him to teach us a few techniques to try.

Thanks for the review Mary. Perhaps we will put more emphasis on how long we paint. Some people are here purely for the cultural education, others for the act of painting. It does seem that particularly people coming through this platform tend to want to spend more time painting, which is wonderful. Thanks again.

Andrew was great! Answered graffiti questions and ended with the group trying it out plus APES created a tag on a t- shirt for us.
