My wife and I purchased tickets for the October 12th 8pm tour. Starting at 7:45pm, we waited at the assigned meeting spot in Fells Point, conversing with several other groups all waiting for the same tour to start, but no tour guide appeared. By the start time of 8pm, the tour guide had still not arrived, and after 10 more minutes, we left to try to salvage our evening. I'm not sure what other groups did and maybe the tour guide came right after we left (still at least 10-15 min late) but I thought it unprofessional to have to wait with no notification from the company (if it was an emergency/etc.). I understand accidents or mistakes happen, but I assumed I could get a refund from the tour company. After contacting the company though, they would not refund me and only offered a credit (net of Tripadvisor fees) for a future tour. Maybe one day, but leaves a bad taste.

Carter did a fantastic job, keeping us engaged the entire time and showcasing all the history around Baltimore. I didn’t know all the history about Edgar Allan Poe, and I really appreciate that.
