We booked the pedal barge for a bachelorette trip and it was amazing! Captain Cook made sure we had a great time and we even got to see a few gators on our trip. It was so fun!

This actually felt like a scam. They sell 18 seats per boat but there’s only like 12 pedal seats. (Also, the pedals are just for show, they spin but they’re just pedals sitting on the boat deck.) So if you don’t get on one of the pedal seats you’re paying full price to sit on a seat in the back with no table or cup holders. We had a group of 4 so the only way to face each other was for two of us to sit on the floor. We were told “no shi*** or puking” in the bathroom, which is fine, but then there was an intentional absence of toilet paper to help make sure you follow the rules. Also, we took off 10 minutes late and came back 10 minutes early. Basically, if you go through with the bad decision to book, be the first to get on the boat and bring your own toilet paper.

Sorry you don't like to party, check out our website and other reviews, most people have a great time. There are enough seats for everyone on the boat, there are 12 pedal stations and they work. From time to time one breaks, but we do our best to get it fixed asap. We do our best to leave at the time of the tour, so make sure to show up early if you are on a public tour. And we come back after 1hr 45 mins, so we have time to clean the boat. Most of the groups are nice and everyone ends up dancing, so there is usually plenty of time to sit at a pedal station and pedal away. But it is usually just a big party on the boat. We do have toilet paper, the captain has extra, you could have just asked him for some.

Did this for a bachelorette party! It was a good time! Music and dancing! You don’t actually ever have to pedal. The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because our tour guide was not talkative at all! He didn’t say much. I have been on pedal tours where the guide is involved and having a blast with us. I feel as though he should have brought more energy to the party!

I agree the guide should be more involved and most of our captains are entertaining and a blast to party with. He might have been having an off day, it takes a lot of energy to be around people partying all the time. Glad to hear you still had a good time.
