The ambience of the Hawaiian ocean view had me and I'm hooked. The 'silent disco' headphones was a brand new experience and it added to the meditation experience in a wonderful way. Instructors are very knowledgeable & are wonderful!

I found the morning yoga class randomly through one of my wedding vendors on Instagram and I am so happy that I signed up a class! My two friends and I did the morning yoga at Old A’s the day prior to my wedding and it was one of the best ways to begin my magical wedding week. Not only were the views spectacular, the flow was grounded around self love and Heather was an AMAZING teacher. My friend was worried that with the headphones we wouldn’t be able to hear the ocean, but we could still enjoy the sounds of the beautiful surroundings while being able to hear Heather perfectly clear with the comfortable headphones. Everything felt super clean and safe because we were outside and Heather provided sanitary products as needed. Would 100% recommend this yoga class and would have loved to have been able to book a private bridal yoga session, had I known about Yoga Big Island sooner. But the class alone was amazing and was truly a great choice to disconnect from all the wedding stress and provide myself with some much needed self love. If you’re looking to do private group sessions or if you’re wanting to join an outdoor yoga class, this is the place to book! I will definitely be back for more yoga with Yoga Big Island!

What a wonderful experience! I'm, yoga on the beach in Hawaii?! Yes, please! I do not regularly practice yoga, in fact, I haven't been to a class in years, and this was fun, beautiful and just challenging enough to be a good workout for this novice. Heather is fun, and guides all levels through the class. I love the noise canceling headphones, so not only did it feel like I was the only person on the beach, I could clearly hear every instruction despite being outside, and without the instructor having to speak in anything other than calm, smooth tones over relaxing music. There are no membership fees or multi-class package requirements, so you can drop in for just one class, or come back as many times as you like. Registration is online, so you can see which location you'll be getting yo' flow on well ahead of time. I would absolutely recommend Yoga Big Island to visitors and locals.
