Learn to surf in Santa Cruz during a 2.5-hour clinic designed with the beginner in mind. Novices are welcome, as well as anyone who has tried surfing but could use some tips for balancing on the board and catching a wave. You'll get plenty of practice with paddling and pop-up techniques while learning about wave breaks, ocean conditions, and safety in and out of the water, including surf etiquette. I initially received alert for beginning surfing lesson and my daughter was beyond excited…unfortunately there were no other enrollees BUT gratefully we were offered opportunity to have private lesson which turned out to make my daughter’s intro into surfing a fantastic and beyond her and my expectations! My daughter had an amazing time, definitely 5/5. Beginner private surfing lesson given by Chase, he was patient and connected with my teenage daughter which isn’t always easiest thing to do! Much thanks!
