The problem with this tour was the transportation. The minivan for four of us was so tight that we had to scramble over each other. I sat in the back and my view out My window was marred by the weather heating strips in the window. I couldnt take photos out this window. Looking forward I could barely see over the seat in front of me with the gentleman in it. I climbed in and out over eight times, meanwhile the tour companys second vehicle pulled up and it was a nice transportation wagon with a center aisle. So please feel aware you might be traveling in a far less than comfortable vehicle for a one and a half hour drive each direction. . Amy, our driver was very nice and courteous. The guide provided to us from Gettysburg was incredibly detail oriented, and we felt like we had a master class in that Civil War battle . I would give it higher marks for the guides but terribly low marks for that crappy van they use.

Fascinating tour of the battlefield locations and the museum. Superb Gettyburg guide called Bobby and lovely driver there and back to DC called Amy. Only thing I would change (and then I would give the tour 5 stars) is to do the museum in the morning and the battlefield tour after lunch. You would then have seen the film and the 360 degree painting which would help when on the battlefield.
