Snoqualmie Falls

The Snoqualmie waterfall is located in Washington's greater Seattle area, along the river of the same name. The falls and the town gained international recognition when they were used as filming locations for the hit show "Twin Peaks."

Leavenworth

Explore the German village northwest from Seattle, the most popular town in this area where people celebrates all the time. You can see nice maple leaves here in falls. Leavenworth, the townsite was across the Wenatchee River from Icicle and was named Leavenworth the same year the rail construction began. Captain Charles Leavenworth, president of the Okanogan Investment Company, purchased the land in the present-day downtown and laid the streets parallel to the new railroad tracks. The railroad construction was completed during the winter of 1893. Lafayette Lamb and his brother, Chancery Lamb arrived in 1903 from Iowa to build the second largest sawmill in Washington state in winter the town is covered by white snow and holiday decorations. Lovely atmosphere can be found here all year round. Enjoy shopping for delicate European souvenirs and the famous German food and beer, or try on traditional German clothes.

Duan is so nice and friendly. He introduced some places for us to visit in Leavenworth as well as some spots on the way. He drove very carefully and steadily. Actually, we took a great nap along the drive, hahaha! Recommend everyone to join this tour and take a walk in Leavenworth!

This is NOT a tour! It is just a cramped van ride to the waterfall and town of Leavenworth. No tour was given, this would easily be a way cheaper trip if you just rented your own car for the day and drove yourself! Then what made it worse is somehow we ended up on a Chinese tour that the driver actually did give info out BUT in Chinese! The various staff in town gave us more info than our driver. So what I would suggest to TripAdvisor would be to change the title of this service to "Van transportation ONLY to Snoqualmie falls & Leavenworth" This is a very overly priced van ride! The driver did her best to keep us comfortable, but she to spoke English as a second language, I don't remember seeing a box to check, to pick the language of the tour, defiantly wouldn't have been Chinese!

This tour is indeed an English tour, but when there are customers who speak other languages on the tour, the guide will speak the second language to take care of each customer's experience if she is capable. For example, Spanish; Chinese; French, etc.

Amazing service! Duan had great facts about Snoqualmie falls and Leavenworth. He even suggested a few places to check out in Leavenworth. He was also very friendly. Having to drive out to Leavenworth in the snow, rain and darkness…. Hellll no. So glad I booked this for me and my husband. I would definitely suggest this tour to anyone wanting to visit Leavenworth!
