The tour was well organized and our guide knew the material well. If you’re looking for a fun or spooky tour, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a deep history lesson, you’ll probably love this. We were hoping for a balance of the two, so this left us a little disappointed. We felt like we received a two hour history lecture and since the history he shared about the witch trials is actually quite sad and unjust, we left feeling guilty for being in Salem and partaking in the activities. (Even though he made sure to thank the tourists several times for helping revive their city.) The guide was dressed professionally, made a few jokes and seemed to have a passion for about preserving the true history of the Salem Witch Trials. However, he shared his very strong feelings about completely unrelated topics a several times, which was uncomfortable, unprofessional and wasted our time. I hope this helps you decide if this tour is right for you. Again, it wasn’t terrible, just not what we expected.

Our tour was great, guide was informative and kept us entertained. He answered questions and gave suggestions for other attractions and where to get a decent meal.
