The tour was lead by Sarah who was very knowledgeable and informative on this history of Salem and the witch trials and putting them into perspective with other events that were going on at the time. Our group had about 20 people ranging from 11 and up. Would highly recommend to see some important buildings from the witch trials and an unbiased account of what happened using court transcripts and primary sources of the event. Best tour I did in Salem.

My husband and I took the 7 pm tour on Oct 30th. It was lightly raining at times, but it didn't matter as Sarah, our tour guide was amazing! Her knowledge and passion for Salem and the witch trials came through as we went from site to site. She kept the crowd engaged and at the witch memorial gave a brief statement about each victim. They were just ordinary people unjustly accused. Sarah made the tour! It's two hours but I could listen to her for 2 more hours, she's that good. Definitely take this tour and learn about the witch trials, Salem and some tips on restaurants and bars.

What a wonderful experience! We came to Salem for the Halloween festivities and did the 7:00 p.m. walking tour. Sarah was our guide and she was excellent. She is a Master's prepared history major and has extensive knowledge of the city of the Salem and the witch trials that took place. She is very warm and engaging. She made the tour! My favorite part of the tour was visiting the Witches Memorial. Sarah briefly discusses each person that met such an unfortunate demise. It is a lovely way to memorialize those that lost their lives so tragically. The content of the tour is somewhat somber, but Sarah engages you and makes the information accessible. She has much information about historical Salem, and has some bar/restaurants tips too! The tour is a solid 2 hours, so come with comfortable walking shoes and bundle up if going during fall/winter months. The cost is very affordable. Great communication and easy transaction. If you want a cool, historical tour, this is the one!
